Institut Avrio de Genève’s Masters in IT and Computing is both for students with a background in computing and those who wish to acquire knowledge regarding this domain without a background in it. This eLearning program is for those who wish to broaden their knowledge further regarding computing and information technology.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This online program will develop a thorough understanding and knowledge of professional software development. Furthermore, it will provide detailed insight into computing practices. Our graduates will have the chance to gain hands-on practical experience in most of our courses. Students may opt for a certain area to specialize in according to their interest and passion that includes but is not limited to:
- Software development,
- Data science,
- Artificial intelligence etc.
The distance study program requires students to participate in a final project by working either in pairs within the industry, with start-up organizations or with researchers.
AIM
This program aims at preparing it students to:
- Apply learned systematic approaches within computing professionally
- To tackle complex interdisciplinary real computing problems in different areas
- To apply technical knowledge and integrated skills to computational methods.
- To be able to identify and analyse contemporary trends and developments within their chosen area of specialization

The program of the Master in IT offered by Avrio institute is definitely a course you should consider.
Our online IT Master Diploma includes 10 modules to study and a thesis, this course takes you 2 years to finish. During the 1st year, you will study our modules and the 2nd year is for your thesis work.
The course is designed to equip you with the skills you need to go on to become more IT professional. Whilst studying this course students will develop their skills. Upon successful completion of the course, students can pursue a career in IT within the public or private sector.
Upon graduation, the student will get a Master Diploma in IT from Institut Avrio de Genève in Switzerland
Transfer credits
To transfer your credits from other institutions, you need to send your application including an official transcript from your previous/current institution.
Please note Avrio Institute does not accept application onto the last semester. So, you may repeat a semester. What does it mean? You need to study for one year at Avrio at least, in this case, the fee will be equal to 60% of the total fee of the program. Also, in this case, your application fee will be 390 Euro instead of 190 Euro.

Admission Criteria
- To enroll onto the Master, the requirements are:
- Previous study: Undergraduate Diploma or equivalent
- Age: 21 Years or more
- English: IELTS 6, or equivalent. However, you do not need such a certificate if you are:
- From English-speaking countries, or
- A high school certificate holder from English-speaking schools, or
- Conditionally, a full-time employee of an English organization for the last 2 years. In this case, need to prove the duration and Job position and you will be asked to take our English Test.
- Selecting intake: Our program has been designed to give a chance to all students to start their studies when they are ready to take this step towards their better tomorrow. The applicants who would like to enroll in this program, have to select the intake they would enroll into. At Avrio Institute we do have 5 Main intakes per year, and there is the possibility to individually start with convincing reasons. In total we do have 10 intakes per year, they are as below:
- Main Intakes: They take place during the 1st Week of January, March, May, August, or October
- Individual intakes: They take place during the 1st Week of February, April, June, September, or November
- NOTE: December and July have no intakes because we do issue Diplomas in those months.
- Transfer credits:
- In Addition to the above requirements (No. #1), the applicant has to submit a copy of the transcript.
- If the applicants have awarded a diploma from the previous study, a copy of the diploma is required as well.
- Please note that there is an additional fee for those applicants who would like to transfer their credits.

On completion of this course, students will graduate with the following certificates:
- Master in Information Technology Diploma in the specialization from Institut Avrio de Genève (read more about the quality of education)
- The own University Master of Science of Information Technology of Azteca University in Mexico with the respective specialization of the respective Institut Avrio de Geneve diploma. The University is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in Mexico, and the degree is issued by the University itself.
- Optional: The own University Master of Science in Information Systems (MSc.) of UCN University in Nicaragua with the respective specialization of the respective Institut Avrio de Geneve diploma. The University is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in Nicaragua, and the degree is issued by the University itself with an additional fee of 1,500 EUR
