At Avrio institute we do provide 2 kinds of Doctorate, which are DBA and D.Phil./PhD.
The D.Phil./PhD program allows the doctoral candidate to apply for the dual award to get graduated with a University Ph.D. degree issued by one of our Partner Universities with no additional fee. The same applies to the DBA program as well. Please go to the admission tab.

Admission Criteria
To enroll in a DBA program, the minimum requirements are:
- Previous Study:
- Executive DBA Program – 2-Year Program: Master or equivalent
- Regular DBA – 3-Year Program: Master or equivalent /or/ Four-Year Bachelor with 7+ Years of Experience in the same or related managerial field.
- Dual DBA: Master or equivalent
- Work Experience:
- Master Holders: It is recommended, not required, that you have at least two years of experience since the date of obtaining your master’s degree.
- 4-Year Bachelor holders: At least seven years of managerial experience since the date of obtaining your bachelor’s degree.
- Age: 25 Years or more
- English: IELTS 6.5, or equivalent. However, you do not need such a certificate if you are:
- From English-speaking countries
- You studied the High school, Bachelor or Master at an English-speaking educational institution
- Conditionally, a full-time employee of an English organization for the last 2 years. In this case, we need to prove the duration and Job position and you will be asked to take our English Test.

Selecting intake: Our program has been designed to give a chance to all students to start their studies when they are ready to take this step towards a better tomorrow. Therefore, the applicants need to select the intake they would enroll in.
At Avrio Institute we do have 5 Main intakes per year, and there is a possibility to start individually with convincing reasons. In total we do have 10 intakes per year, they are as below:
- Main Intakes: They take place during the 1st Week of January, March, May, August, or October
- Individual intakes: They take place during the 1st Week of February, April, June, September, or November
- NOTE: In December and July there are no intakes due to the Christmas, New Year, and Summer holidays, as well as issuing the graduation packages.
DBA Top-Up
DBA Transfer Credits:
Candidates who hold a Level 8 Business Diploma or those who have studied/been studying at any other educational institution, can apply for the Top-Up Program to continue their studies at the institute.
Top Up Duration:
The minimum required duration to finish the program after transferring credits, up to 60 credits, will be one year or more.
For the dual DBA, topup, the minimum duration to study at Avrio Institute is one year to be eligible to obtain a University Executive DBA from Azteca University in Mexico, Own title, or two years to be eligible to obtain an Official recognized DBA from UCN University.
The exact duration and credits to transfer can be determined after submitting the application for admission.
Awards and Awarding Bodies:
1. DBA Program:
On completion of this course, the candidates will graduate with the following certificates:
- Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with/without the specialization from Institut Avrio de Genève
- An official recognized DBA degree with/without the specialization from the UCN University. For more details about UCN, please click here
2. Executive DBA Program:
On completion of this course, the candidates will graduate with the following certificates:
- Executive Doctor of Business Administration (EDBA) with/without the specialization from Institut Avrio de Genève
- The own University Doctor of Business Administration of Azteca University in Mexico with the respective specialization. For more details please click here
3. Optional:
- The applicants may not apply for the dual award to reduce the enrollment fee.
- The DBA applicants may apply for the University DBA with Azteca University, which will reduce the fee as well.
- The candidates may apply for the triple award to obtain upon graduation Avrio, UCN, and Azteca’s Award.
