Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) has been designed to offer business executives the next steppingstone after their Master or equivalent Program equal to 240 ECTS. Institut Avrio de Genève’s Distance Doctorate stretches over a period of three years as a regular duration. This includes workshops and training sessions with the faculty. Our workshops provide a blend of theoretical and research-based content, and design methodology to evaluate applications of literature.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
During the initial 1st year of DBA, you will be enrolled in 6-9 Modules/Courses. These online modules are seminal for your final research in the latter half of the course. Your training at the hands of our faculty will allow you to approach contemporary academic knowledge, ability to design tools to evolve solutions to world problems.
AIM
The Virtual Doctorate aims to provide business professionals the opportunity to trace applied research from the comfort of their homes. It outlines the possibilities of interventions that cater to real-life issues, to assess the efficacy of said solutions. These findings will be transmitted to the spheres of practice and research so that both can benefit from them. In a broader perspective, the goal is to produce new scholarship and understandings.

Admission Criteria
To enroll onto the DBA program, the requirements are:
- Previous study:
- Master Diploma or equivalent
- Four-Year Bachelor Diploma
- Work Experience:
- Master Diploma or equivalent: 5+ Years of Experience in the same or related field
- Four-Year Bachelor Diploma: 7+ Years of Experience in the same or related field
- Age: 25 Years or more
- English: IELTS 6.5, or equivalent. However, you do not need such a certificate if you are:
- From English-speaking countries, or
- A high school certificate holder from English-speaking schools, or
- A holder a Bachelor or Master diploma from an English-Speaking institution.
- Conditionally, a full-time employee of an English organization for the last 2 years. In this case, we need to prove the duration and Job position and you will be asked to take our English Test.
- Selecting intake: Our program has been designed to give a chance to all students to start their studies when they are ready to take this step towards their better tomorrow. The applicants who would like to enroll in this program, have to select the intake they would enroll in. At Avrio Institute we do have 5 Main intakes per year, and there is a possibility to individually start with convincing reasons. In total we do have 10 intakes per year, they are as below:
- Main Intakes: They take place during the 1st Week of January, March, May, August, or October
- Individual intakes: They take place during the 1st Week of February, April, June, September, or November
- NOTE: December and July have no intakes because we do issue Diplomas in those months.
