This is an independent service provided by the institute and it is not in the usual sense for a language school. The service is to provide language courses to empower those people who are interested in learning the languages we do provide.

Anything you find on the website pages, outside this page, is not related to the language school in any way unless it is clearly stated.

The language school is a part of the Institute. So, Official it’s has been opened. However, due to COVID-19, it is still in the experimental stage.

Almost all of the teachers teach their native, semi-native, or with long experience (+10 years) in teaching the language.

Semi-Native might mean:

  • A Maltese teacher teaches English. The English language is somehow the mother tongue.
  • Or the Language they teach is their second language (They grew up or studied in a country where the language they teach is the official language)

Long experience means that the teachers have taught this language for more than 10 years

The levels are A1-Beginner, A2-Essential, B1-Intermediate, and B2-Upper-Intermediate
Each level is divided into three Sublevels, 1, 2 and 3

We do not adopt the teaching method through software, or any kind of self-learning. So, you will only attend interactive live lessons, where you can see your teacher and colleagues and talk to them.

Yes, there is an exam for those who wish to do so, but please note that the issued certificate should not be used for obtaining residency, nationality, or university registration.

The certificate can be used to demonstrate language proficiency in practical life.

You may include it in your CV which gives you a better chance to find a better job.
